Ideas for Structure of My Journey
It’s funny how we are taught lessons in our lives. I have finally been doing some research about mediums, channels and other people that communicate with spirits. My own spirit communications have settled down a little bit, so I figured it was time for me to do some reality work on all of this. One of the big reasons that I need to do some research is that people are starting to ask me what I call myself and I have no idea. The other issue is that many people are starting to contact me to find out about their personal angels or to ask me questions about their deceased loved ones.
I LOVE hearing from everyone and I feel very privileged to be asked to contact a loved one or to be introduced to so many angels. The problem is that I am feeling like I'm not giving anyone enough individual attention. I also sometimes feel that the messages are "rushed' and not sufficient. It feels like I would be able to get more from the spirit if I had more structure in how I communicated with them.
I've been in a quandry as to how to proceed. Then, today, a lesson that a kind person tried to teach me two months ago hit me between the eyes. I called a doctor to schedule a consultation for two of my sons. There is nothing "wrong" with them, but I've been doing some studying and I believe that this doctor will be able to bridge some gaps in my thinking. I have two sons that I would like him to see and his fee is $250.00 per hour for each of them. I have to book two hours, of course, and my insurance will not cover this. Now, this is a matter of personal importance, so I will pay the fee and hope that the information that I receive is what I need.
Actually, I wouldn't expect him to see me for free and since this information is something I desire very much, it will be worth the fee to pay him. My situation with the spirits is different and the same. Well, first, I'm not a doctor and I'm new at this and unskilled, so I don't feel comfortable charging for my services. On the other hand, I don't want to continue doing what I think is partial work for people. It is also a known fact that people value something more if they have given something in order to obtain it.
Two people that I have done readings for have sent me books and one person paid me because he wanted to. I loved all of that because it was the value that they thought they received from my time. So, here are some of my ideas:
A. I’m going to develop some kind of structure for how I do readings. They will have at least two parts (the first being the random message from the persons spirit guides and the second part allowing the client to ask specific questions).
B. It is likely that I will do a defined number of readings per week, on certain days and at certain times. This will give me the opportunity to concentrate completely on those readings and not be distracted by my kids and my other projects and obligations.
C. I’ll create a page on my web site to describe all of this and how it works.
D. I still will not charge for my services, BUT, I will state clearly on my web site that if, from the reading, you have received something of importance for your life, whatever value you place on the information will be gladly received by me.
These are my thoughts. I’d love to hear back from anyone else that has thoughts on it as well. Many blessings.

Cheryl, I think it's a great idea and yes, you're right... you wouldn't expect to see a doctor or holistic healer for free. You have a wonderful way about you and it's a blessing you offer your services this way. xo
