Triggers
Since I have been seeing angels I have been asked by a number of people about my personal beliefs. The key thing that I believe is that it really isn't important what I believe. What I have learned from studying and then from the angels is that each person will choose a belief system that will give them comfort and help them to get through this life as peacefully as possible. I understand though, that if I am talking about angels I am talking about something that is personally spiritual for many people and what I believe may be a curiosity.
I believe a lot of things and I feel no need to validate them even through the angels. My beliefs are very personal and I know well that they are strictly for me to find comfort and understanding in this world. That being said, there are words commonly used in spirituality that are triggers of things past for me. I don't often discuss this because many people are offended and I don't mean for that to happen, but, again, I understand why what I believe should be on the table.
The word "God" is not a comfortable word for me. It reminds me of a vengeful being that inspires people through guilt and fear as opposed to love. I know that this is not what the word is supposed to mean, but for me, it does, so I prefer to use other words. Spirit is a more comfortable word for me or even Great Mother. It doesn't mean that I don't believe in God. It just means that I prefer to personalize with a different word.
I don't like the word "sin". Too many years of guilt built into that one for me. The term "great wrong" works a lot better. I only use the idea of a great wrong for major things like really horrible crimes or even negligence to our environment. I don't believe that we need to be saved from our sin. I believe that we are all born with the capacity to love and we are all able to make choices that are either for the good of the world or not.
I don't believe in a hell. Souls are eternal, which means we have had and will have all eternity to change, grow and become better. Even the really vile among us.
I believe that no man can tell another man what to believe. No man is more right than another. Not Christian to Buddhist, not Buddhist to Jewish, not Jewish to Hindu, not Hindu to Muslim, not Muslim to Wiccan or any other thing under the sun. What we choose is right for us and the angels are for everyone. They don't belong to a religion and the light where I see deceased people also doesn't belong to religion. Its bigger than that, so, that is why what I personally believe is irrelevant and small. It is also why I can hang on to the terms that make me comfortable and still talk to the angels and to the deceased in any terms that they choose.
Thought I'd share this tonight. Much love.
