The Light

I had a wonderful opportunity last night to speak to someone that had a near death experience. She was dealing with cancer and at one point wound up in the hospital. During that time she found herself floating above her body and she encountered her guides that told her that she was loved and blessed. She also saw the light and had some other experiences. It was such a delight for me to talk to her!

I am also presently reading a book about a near death experience and its amazing how so much of what I see, hear and feel with the angels and the deceased people correlates to the experiences of people that have seen the light. Although my personal belief system differs from the people that had these experiences, the things that we have encountered are very much the same and interestingly, we all walk away with the knowledge that it doesn't matter what you believe. There is just enormous love and peace that awaits us.

One of the most important things that these people discovered is that there are levels, or different places for each soul in the light. This is what I have learned from the spirits and it isn't something that I knew before. I was describing it as choices that we have when we die. Some of us choose to go "further" into the light while others stay close to earth and still others become guides for people here on earth. Since I'm not dead, I can't go into the light, but it has been made very clear to me that there are different places within the light.

So far, the spirits have made themselves known to me here, in my environment. I can see them in the light and there have been occasions where I have known that they were in a special place within the light, but I don't go there. I will say though, that just having a teeny peek and a small amount of understanding about the peace and love that exists there erases any fear about dying.
